Listed below are descriptions of the many web-related projects I have been developing & designing.

WWE Characters Site - According to search stats in 2006, the WWE was the #2 most searched term on Yahoo!'s search engine (following Britney Spears). As a longtime fan of WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), I have put my graphic design/website skills to use to make an interactive fansite and Myspace page, as well as a blog which provides recaps of matches, commentary and other information. The webhosting is done via Google Page Creator, which is a free hosting service provided by Google account. Also employed are Adobe Imageready, Web polls, feedburner to display blog feeds and Google Analytics to measure traffic. The Myspace page has proven a great promotional tool for the website and has attracted fans from around the world! |

Love & Basketball is a Myspace page, website and blog devoted to my passion for the NBA and basketball. The NBA continues to be popular with fans all across the world. I started with a blog which provides commentary and insight on the league, its rules, players, games and stats. To promote this blog, I created an interactive Myspace page which includes music, pictures, Youtube video highlights and a fan poll. In addition, I recently started up another free website using Google's page creator, which will be under development and also provide a site for fans. |

MC's Tech Talk is my latest blog which includes articles by myself and several royalty free articles which have great tips and techniques for the technology world. With a background in technology, I felt I could bring some of my insight into troubleshooting and ways for the average computer user or novices to understand how to keep their computer running effectively. Many people feel technology is complex and daunting and this blog seeks to give a bit of an assist. The blog runs on Wordpress which I recently installed on my site here, mcstylin.com. This allows for articles to be published straight to my webdirectory as part of my site. Integrating this blog with my site is my latest project. |

Britney Baby 1 More Time was a quicker web project I set up. With the understanding that Britney Spears was the #1 most searched topic on Yahoo! search engine in 2006, I decided to see how popular a simple fansite could be. While still being developed, I employ the use of a promotional Myspace page to draw attention to the page, as well as custom Britney Spears Contact tables for Myspace users. This site is run off the free webhosting service of www.freewebs.com. I have edited the freewebs basic CSS template for my site and then created additional pages on my own to upload to the freewebs.com host. |

MCStylin's Custom Contact Tables is a display of recent graphic designs I created, using Adobe Imageready. Many sites are already running which help users customize their Myspace profiles. After noticing many friends of my WWE Myspace page using the custom wrestling contact tables I had available, I decided to set this site up. I added several more pages of customized "contact tables", including TV cartoons like the Simpsons, NBA players, celebrities and various other pop-culture items. This runs off my site MCStylin.com and the hosting of photos is done by Photobucket's great image-hosting service. |
Design Notes:
All of the projects above employ the use of Dreamweaver which I have used to perform editing of HTML and CSS codes and in a few cases, PHP or Java on a basic level. Hosting is done through the aforementioned sites, Godaddy.com, google.com, freewebs.com and photobucket.com. I have stumbled upon many online resources for the creation of "add-on" features as well. The majority of graphic design work has been done through the use of Adobe Imageready, a great program which prepares images for use on websites. I have also tested and run search engine optimization tools to attempt to increase traffic through many search engines.
